Artist book, created using mobile phone pictures of artists body, digital printing on commercial paper. 8”x 6”. 48 pages.

Body is a mystery, though we live in it / with it, we don't understand it fully in all its dimensions and complexities. We tend to comprehend it in parts or misunderstand it altogether. To shoot these pictures I have used mobile phone camera which has low quality lens, which distorts the image, and tends to generate grainy, low resolution images, especially in low lights, It brings a sense of mystery to fore. Close ups can be intriguing, especially when they are grainy. Though I have taken pictures of only hands and legs , these pictures can be perceived as something else. Perhaps due to our own preconceptions we see what is not there.
