The seed

Wire mesh and Lokta paper. 22"x 24" x 36"

In this work I have combined the form of Lotus seed and Stupa. As a form it signifies many beginnings but in treatment it suggest loss and decay. The form is created by using wire like a structural form and Lokta paper is wrapped around it in many places. The fragility of the paper adds to resulting evocative image.
